About Holy Trinity

The congregation at Holy Trinity is a mixed group of people who live in the area around the church or join us from other parts of the city.  2013 will be an exciting year for us as we implement our Mission Action Plan.  Our ministry brings the leadership of clergy and lay people together as we seek to serve God and our neighbours.

Our main service on Sundays is the Parish Eucharist.  This service follows the Church of England, Common Worship, Order One.   After the service conversations continue over refreshments. Worship on Sundays and for the Church Festivals is supported by a choir that strives to achieve the highest musical standards. We have a strong music tradition and benefit from the commitment of members of the choir and our organist.  The Christmas Carol Service is one of the many highlights during the year.

Members of the congregation are invited to join one of the Friendship Groups.  The groups give us time to get to know each other during the week by providing opportunities for socialising.

We are fortunate to have a large, flexible and well maintained building.  We are especially fortunate in that we have received a legacy that will enable us to make improvements to the lighting, heating and external areas of the church.

We welcome parents seeking baptism for children, couples preparing for marriage and families mourning the death of a loved one.
We seek to be a welcoming community and strive for excellence in all that we do.
