| God our creator, who in the beginning commanded the light to shine out of darkness: we pray that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ may dispel the darkness of ignorance and unbelief, shine into the hearts of all your people, and reveal the knowledge of your glory in the face of Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen

| Sunday 19 June is Trinity's patronal day, and as part of the celebrations Holy Trinity PCC has decided that Saturday 18 June will be a Gift Day. The PCC has also set up a small working group to advise on the best way forward to inform the congregation about Gift Day.

| This year we mark the 400th Anniversary of the Authorised Version of the Bible - the King James Bible. The 10am service for Trinity Sunday will include readings from the Authorised Version of the Bible. The service will begin with the Book of Common Prayer Order for the Morning Prayer and continue with the BCP Holy Communion with hymns. |
